Beasts between the margins – Lino print workshop

We are delighted to welcome Mark Daffin from The Gilded Tower to The Barn.
You may have been lucky enough to meet him and view his beautiful prints at our Medieval Day in June. Mark creates printmaking work inspired by medieval art, illuminated manuscripts, woodcuts and ancient symbolism, so a workshop on our medieval site is the perfect fit!

During the lino print workshop, participants will explore the strange and imaginative world of medieval marginalia by creating relief prints inspired by the fantastical creatures that populate the margins of illuminated manuscripts.
